SALINAS, Calif.- Salinas Police arrested two men that led them on a high speed chase around town overnight.
It started near North Main Street near Boronda Road when the Monterey County Joint Gang Task Force attempted to stop a car. According to officers, the car fled to 101 and refused to stop.
Shortly after, the car spun out and hit a small tree near Alisal and Homestead.
According to police, Luis Fuentes tried to flee the scene but was caught shortly after. Police say Fuentes was found to be in possession of a saleable quantity of meth and had felony warrants.
The driver, Edgar Sosa, was also arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.
