Looking for info on how to find former teachers

I attended Thomas H. Hayes Elementary School, at Fort Ord, back in 1975. I am trying to get info on how to locate my 5th grade teacher, and a 6th grade teacher who taught at Finch Jr High. They had a big bearing on my life and I would just like to have the opportunity to say, "Thanks". My 5th grade teacher was Judy Steritt and the 6th grade teacher was John Lamb. I went to Hayes Elementary from 1972 to late 1975.
K-2. I am trying to remember my teachers names.(K) was Mrs. Woods (1) Mrs. Cannon (2) Some hippy guy who lived near Big Sur. He was weird, he told my Mom that I was not getting work done in class and that she should do what the early settlers did to their kids....kill them. WTH!!!
Principals name was something like Tollhurst.
