I hope it does not burn down Oprah's house. That would only leave her with 8 or 9 houses to choose from.

Maybe the wind of change will blow the fire in another direction. Get out the NObama firmen. Maybe Rahm's big mouth could put out the flames. Burn, Baby, Burn!

Really? My daughter is up there and has been held up in a gym all night long with flames at the front steps. I have never been more ashamed of being a New Yorker.

You can hear the faint rallying cry of "burn, baby, burn" from the Watts rioters who were described by LAPD Chief Parker as 'monkeys in a zoo'?

Ok,so how many houses does the the big, fat momma have anyway? Just call the insurance company and take it as a loss. Does anyone care about this?

Yes the Tea fire is in Montecito, But get your facts right. It's about 7 miles from Opra's house and rob lowes house is way away from the fire. It's burning towards Santa Barbara.

So?? It's just snobby rich jerks, anyway. They couldn't care less if any of our homes burned.

It is not just rich jerks, as some may think. Westmont was my home for several years, one of my children went there and kids come from all over, and all economic backrounds to go there. The teachers lost their homes, too. Many Montecito residents are very modest and elderly....fire is a tragedy to anyone. This is so very sad. I truly hope they can put this out before anymore people or their property are lost.

it saddens me to hear the insensitivity of people around the nation. I went to that school for four years and have memories there. Many of the faculty would go out of their way for anyone...and those are the ones that lost their homes, not the rich stars. Stop complaining about the rich and politics, that is not the issue. Maybe we should help out those who now have nothing left. I have no doubt they would do the same for others.

People are a-holes... the area that was burned in this fire was not the rich people, it was an area full of old Santa Barbara locals many of whom are anything but rich and most are elderly.
