Ouch! How embarrassing on the part of the commander of this kid! I guess the CHP policy of focusing so adamantly on opening the freeway traffic lanes quickly results in very poor decisions by inexperienced officers who are by law, delegated the authority of being the on-scene commander of a highway emergency incident until relieved by an officer of higher rank and obviously of more experience and common sense! Gonna take a lot of of smoozing for the area commander to reinstall a good working environment with his CHP command office and the local fire departments! Ouch!!!!
