See my profile photo taken across from the Nanuet Hotel. I think it is the old Rail and I hear it burnt after it was something else but I don't think it burnt to the ground. The original tin ceilings are still there and the layout on the inside looks like it used to when it was the Rail. Any comments?
No, I was there. It literally burnt to the ground. It was a vacant lot for quite some time. I don't know what's there now.

Thank you French Louie. I wish I had a photo from the days when we used to go there.

Nothing was ever built on the site. The building was torn down and the lot still sits vacant

I went to the Rail and saw many Blues acts. I saw Freddie King and shook his hand between songs as he would shake the hands of fans in the crowd by the stage. There were people taking pictures the whole time during the show I would like to see any pictures taken at the Rail to see if I am in any of them.

Who remembers the old wooden phone booth inside the red rail??? Many memories. Dated the bouncer for one night. Don't remember his name. He probably doesn't remember mine either.
