Went to Moonlight Ped for first time last night. Would definitely NOT recommend. If you decide to not heed this review, please approach w caution.
Was there for 2-3 hours with my 8 yr old son. After describing his symptoms of chest pain, they began series of testing, concluding with a chest xray. They denoted a "boot shaped heart" verbally and then written on form. I was handed the diagnosis , xray copy and referred to see a specialist (i.e. ped cardiologist).
One issue is the so called boot shaped heart has very serious medical conditions associated with it which can be fatal. Well within 24 hours and 2 hours sleep, we were into see a pediatric cardiologist. Bottom line is his heart was normal after a full evaluation including a ECG etc. The so called boot shaped heart diagnosis was not correct, and simply did not exist. Suspect the xray was result of a poor "picture" during an exhale vs inhale. The decision to diagnose on xray was poor. I believe they were more interested in covering themselves than the welfare of patient/parent. Again a no in my book.

Also had a horrible experience at Moonlight Peds. Office staff was rude, doc was condescending -overall nasty attitudes. In addition the office was cold and dirty. Staff more interested in their cell phones then patients. My daughter was misdiagnosed and had to go to ER later the same night. Stay away!!!

I have been there two weeks ago because my 11 month old twisted his leg on a slide. His leg got a little swollen but he wouldn't even try to make a step because of pain ( he already started walking at the age of 9 months) ii was very concerned and afraid that it may be broken. They took 2 X-rays of his leg and the diagnosis, No broken leg (as of the doctor) we got discharged with the statement if he still doesn't walk within three days to follow up with an orthopedics. We got the cd with the X-rays with us. The very next morning he was even in more pain so I decided to take him to Good Samaritan hospital to the ER. They looked into the X-rays on the cd I got and they couldn't see anything because the quality of the pictures was very bad, so I agreed on taking new X-rays at the ER in good sams. The diagnosis was Broken Tibia bone so my poor baby got an cast. Honestly, even if the doctors at moonlight pediatrics may be good, their equipment and machines they use are very old I guess which makes the doctors look bad as well. I would rather recommend to go to an nearest ER then to moonlight pediatrics in suffern.

I live down the street w/ 2 young boys, we go there often and I LOVE them.
Those who don't like are probably rude HASIDS!
& NO the wait is NOT that long for those of us who Don't think we're above everyone else the world!!
...like those rude beings posting rude reviews because they most likely want to put moonlight out of business and buy the space.
Next will be Mrs. Greens cause lets face it, they're taking over Rockland!!

Very rude front desk staff. Very condescending. I do NOT recommend Moonlight Pediatrics to anyone. I am very disappointed by the 2 or 3 females level of communication at the front desk. They made rude comments under their breath. They laughed at me, and they snapped too. No need for this in front of a sick young child who needs medical attention.

Your comment below about the HASIDS is unfair. Nobody should be judged this way. I am not one of them, and had an awful experience at Moonlight Pediatrics. The number of terrible experiences from others far outweighs your comment.

Front desk was nice. Nurse was rude. She insisted on a rectal temp for my 2 year old ( which her regular doc doesn't even do) she was very pushy about it even when I refused several times. Than used scare tactics to get me to agree to it. And she was not gentle about doing it either. I was so angry. Than a student came in that had no idea of what she was talking about. Doc came in and just said must be an infection. Found out next day that it is cellulitis. Time before that I was in there for 3 hours for a strep test. They said they forgot about me. Horrible place with horrible staff. Better off going to the ER!
