My pay issue was finally resolved, but then they lost the contract. That was my out. This was my second go around with them; I will not do it again, and I strongly advise others to find another company to work with.

I was working for ANP up until a few days ago. I am a recent graduate in medical transcription and just like Was_Worried_Now_Gone said, a lot of their audio was people talking over each other. I did fairly well, the editors even commented on that but Larry later asks me if I am willing to work for slightly less pay (I was only doing 25-30 audio minutes a day, but I worked weekends, which was a time on a calender most of the employees were off). I told him no, he started giving me 5-8 minute audio and I finally decided to quit and apply for CLK Transcription. ANP has not paid me at all, I have called him and he has not picked up the phone. I have emailed him and have received no email. While the audio was sometimes bad and jumbled together, I really liked working there and with other people.

I have an interview scheduled for this Thursday morning to work as an on-site transcriptionist with ANP at their Ramsey office. These comments are making me nervous. I'm wondering if it's even worth my time now. :-(

Run as fast as you can. They're looking for new people to scam! I got an email requesting me as a transcription is the but I guess they forgot to check to see that they never paid me before. I hope the State of New York puts them in jail for scamming people!

I had no idea other people were being treated as badly as I had been! I worked for ANP in 2006, and was treated very poorly and unprofessionally, and left on bad terms as well (I kept all emails from them - yep, for 8 years - in case I ever needed to prove the situation). It's been truly bugging me ever since. This has been cathartic, to say the least. I hope you all get what you earned, and that Larry and Albert get what they deserve too.

Thank you all for your honest posts about this company. I answered an ad of theirs on Craigslist and just received an email with the testing info, so thought I would look up reviews about this company before going any further. I'm grateful to learn about their way of doing business and will not be working for them. I'm going to go on Craigslist and report their post as spam. Shame on them for treating hard working people this way. Good luck to all of you who are trying to get paid...

Please post something on Craigslist! Everyone needs to be aware of these people! The State of New York needs to run them out of town. Good luck to you also!
Seeking Payment

Apparently I am finding this thread too late as I am now one of the many who has not been paid by this company and I am getting ready to seek legal action. They told me several times that my payment was going to go through and it's been almost two months since they've even pretended that was the case. I am still trying to get them to pay me by sending them e-mails because I don't want it to have to get litigious, but they are about to leave me with no choice. I wish there were a way to get our stories heard on a broader scale. A company should not be allowed to operate this way.

NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH wrote:
I am a transcriber with ANP. They pay me regularly/promptly. I invoice on the last day of the month (no later) and the check arrives shortly after the last day of the next month. Never a problem. If my invoice is sent/received after the deadline of the last day of the month, sending it on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on of the next month would be the equivalent of sending it the last day of that month... again, being paid the last day of the following month. So sending in an invoice on October 3rd, payment would be sent out to me on November 30th. This is typical payment practice of many firms I work with. Wondering if your payment has arrived yet. Good luck to you.
They've owed me $1,508.80 for over a month now and I've called and emailed them countless times, only to be told "we're working on it" and "we haven't been paid by our clients all summer." I have no confidence that I'll ever actually get paid by these guys. The two guys who head up the company - Albert and Larry - are complete cheats. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to do work and not get paid for it. I would be the above post was actually posted by one of them because nobody I know is getting paid. They're net 60 at best, if you even get paid.

Stay away from them wrote:
I was an independent contractor for ANP and it became abundantly clear that they do not live up to their promises or their contract terms. I am still waiting to receive my compensation check for an invoice that I submitted for the end of November work. I was supposed to be paid the week of January 7th which is 6 weeks after the submission of my invoice and per my contract terms with them. After repeated e-mails to them, I was told that the check was being sent the week of January 7th. Then I was told it was being sent out the next week. And as of today, January 24th, I was told by Albert Suied, I am sorry but the end of year and also continuing into January has been rather slow.
"Things are just starting to pick up and we are getting busy..
That said I am going to get payment out asap but it is hard for me to commit to a day at this time...We are waiting on receivables and once they come in we will process your payroll. Sorry.."
This unacceptable as I have completed and returned all work in a timely and exemplary manner. I also have anoher invoice for the end of December and I am sure they will have an excuse for not paying that one either. I have threatened Albert with legal action and will have my attorney file papers in Court if necessary. They owe me approximately $210, but it's not about the money. It's about accountablity. I am certain that their clients have paid them long ago for the transcripts, and it is only fair that I receive payment for the work I performed.

Wow! I'm so glad I found these posts. I do transcription work for other companies, but I am always looking for new good ones. It appears that ANP is NOT one of the good ones. I will not be giving them any of my time. Thank you all very much, and I wish you all the best. I hope you are paid what you are owed.
Seeing as they are criminals I was just thankful that they didn't steel my identity. I gave over my personal information as I would do for any employer. I was scammed by not being paid but am thankful because it could have been worse
Funny thing is I still get an email asking me to come back every year.
