W Strikers needs some serious help! They offer nothing! No added training, no philosophy for coaches, no advancement. It's like every coach for them selves. No GK training, NOTHING! My kid currently plays there, not happy. Am I talking trash? I call it talking truth.
Mother strikers should step in and help promote, and organize Whittier, otherwise my guess is they will flounder. Fees are too high for what you get.

Look to be honest, we had a VERY crappy coach last season and now with the new coach I can honestly say it's the best training I have seen the boys get in A LONG TIME. That is honestly the best thing with the club is that you are paying top dollar for a coach and if you do not like the results OR he is getting the job done then you move on and go to the board and replace the coach. trust me it worked awesome for us.

Good for you. I guess I expected more with the entire club as a whole. They seem so unorganized, as stated, no GK training, the one they had early in the season was a joke. He showed up say 3-4 times. No Friday training. I don't see any kind of training curriculum or club philosophy. Rob and the rest of them need to step it up, otherwise expect to lose players..

for the record I knew who the GK coach was and that is why all his teams basically fired him.

Where does Xplosion practice at, is it far from La Mirada?
XPLOSION SC has 3 fields; Nelson, Aeolian and Los Nietos. They are aprox 5 miles west of LM. Fall 2012 CSL games as well as CSL League Cup games were held there.

Juventus will fold, they always were completely unorganized. No real leadership and no clear vision plan. Always wanted to copy other leagues but you can't make chicken salad with chicken crap. Xplosions you get what you pay for. Strikers was the former AUSC which was an affordable and decent club. Slap the strikers name to it, and now those people are paying for a 5 star hotel at a 2 star hotel. Any other clubs to discuss? Locally Fullerton Rangers is a great club, with AC Brea a few levels below. But nothing like the other local clubs.

F.Rangers only has a few teams that are at level, but still charge the 5 star rate for all?. Their Teams of same level unable to compete vs. XplosionSC

Rangers are a great and very large program.
Some very good teams, some not so good.
Their only drawback is they charge way too much

But generally they are a cut above all the local clubs. These other local clubs/people only see/play the bottom third of what Rangers have to offer. So they think they are as good as the Rangers.

If you have seen the upper level teams you would realize how far behind the other local clubs are in development and training.

You don't develop continuous National Championship teams with Mom & Dad coaches

You obviously don't know what your speaking about. Fullerton didn't have a couple teams go winless throughout the entire season. Overall Xplosion is a club you get what you pay for. Not a very good club, not the highest quality coaching, not the best facilities. It is kind of like Juventus FC.

Ok people, its actually really simple to compare clubs and find whats best for your kiddo. Simply google the club name followed by CSL. For example: Fullerton Rangers CSL. That will show you the club profile with how many wins/losses. So, dont take my word for it, but check it out and see for yourselves that while Fullerton Rangers has 35 teams (its been around since 1963), Xplosion only has 15,(been around since 2010). Nonetheless Xplosion had 3 teams go undefeated; U9, U10, U11..and each with ZERO cards, while Rangers did not have one team go undefeated. See for yourselves and see whats best for your kid.

Talk about 1/2 truths.
Do you really think that CSL is the only program the Rangers program plays in !
I mean talk about ignorant. Their upper level teams play in several different playing circuits.
Some western states and some National circuits.

So you never see the cream of their club.
You only see the beginning and middle level Ranger teams in CSL.

But don't get me wrong, the younger Xplosion teams are really good. Great skills and chemistry.
They dominated Bronze and can compete in Silver and maybe Silver Elite.
But be honest there is still a whole other world of soccer above those levels

But with the typical raiding of smaller club players by the bigger clubs,, even at the younger ages, I expect those teams to start losing their impact players in 2 years or so.

In the lmsa is fickle coaches who listen to the parents too much, changing kids positions on the whim of parents who complain. At least that doesnt happen in strikers, parents have no say, and if you trust the coach it makes things far more relaxing, you dont always have to wonder who is whispering in coaches ear.

People need to do what is best for there own child, do your own research. If your not happy with the coach or trainer, have it changed. Either find another team or get a new coach or trainer.
If your child has the talent look for the clubs that have PDL or ECNL, have them tryout for those teams. Otherwise, you have to base it on your pocketbook.

When you pay the high price of soccer. Parents always are whispering at the coach and threating to take their kid if they do play enough or they coaches have 22 kids on their roster to make their paycheck bigger, or try to get a free ride casue they think their kid is the next messi. The politics is breathtaking at the shear insincerity and backstabbing, is horrific listen to how the kids talk to eachother when they make a mistake on the field. You will then see the true cost of club soccer douce bag.
