I forgot to mention that he was also involved in Occupy LA, and was once on TV during its height.

He believed in 'People Power' and people believed in him.

Sorry, but his killer or killers are still out there,so no public notice should be given about it.

Why this article? Did they know each other? Or do you think there were any ties?

Reportedly, most active bike riders in this area know, or know of, each other. It doesn't say if the bike was stolen in the article, but, if so, that would be a similar crime in a nearby area. Probably that is why the other person posted that link.

As both killings are being investigated by the Sheriff, they probably would see if there were any links.

Article says it was gang related. Was Jason associated with a gang?

Jason Rivera was not a member of a gang. As far as I know, these two crimes are unrelated.

If the killer/killers are suspected gang members, that also makes it gang related. Often, suspected gang members kill non-gang members, as happened with Jason.

If anyone knows something about any of these killings, even if you are not sure your information is important, please contact the Sheriff so the victims and their families can have some Justice!

I knew Jason slightly
Peaceful guy
Not a gangster
There was a theft including his bicycle which has not been found- see the picture and keep your eyes open.
Question is: Is someone targeting bikers?
If they hit a guy like Jason no one is safe.
