Though I am not a marijuana user, I am happy to hear of this business opening in Whittier. The city, the police department and the people doing business have done the right things. Hopefully, sick people can benefit from this form of treatment obtained in their own community.

This is a dangerous business to run. Reading the LA Times in recent months there are a lot of armed robberies at these places.

Ha Ha, Ho Ho, These Drug Pushers Got To Go!

These places use the propensity of their clients to use drugs for recreational purposes to sell more profitable drugs.

The doctors giving out the Rx should be carefully investigated, especially the ones that open near the dope sellers and limit their practice to pot.

Did I read non-profit? That is the laugh of the night. I guess there is no profit after you get the new crib, wheels, and boat.

Thank god Hallelujah!. Now I don't have to drive to La Puente to get some medical marijuana. I need medical marijuana for when my wife is on the rag.

For your information, non-profits are allowed to pay a reasonable salary, just like the Red Cross, Salvation Army. etc. Most of the revenue will go for cost of goods and operating expenses.

By providing community services, it sounds like they are in it for altruistic reasons.

Recommended by Queen Elizabeth. The funny thing is that the British government knows about her use but makes an exception.

I don't smoke but think those that want to should be able to. They should let Maxine Waters run the program because all politicians are reliable, honest and
ethical... Ol Bob should take His closed minded approach to freedom and become a Muslim

Yeah, wouldn't the same go for a liquor store. At least the dispensaries have security, so its more like a credit union. With that being said.. this is Whittier which is only becoming *hittier.

40 yrs in the medical profession and I can testify to the benefits of THC for many patients particularly the terminally ill!

It is a healthy alternative for alcohol without the horrible effects of alcohol.

Community Service? They also want a massage parlor. How about we put in a casino, opium den, and S&M club so we can cover all the vices?

These people are in it for the money. Don't believe any of the bullsh they toss about to justify their motives. It is all pretext. The reason to push this dope is to identify consumers for more profitable dope.

These pot shops have proven a problem everywhere they are located. They have large amounts of cash which is attractive to criminals. It brings danger to the neighborhood.

Go live in Europe if you want to do drugs. Don't soil our streets with this filth and condescending additudes for those in the majority that feel recreational drug use is not to be tolerated.
