Imagine the cost of cleaning up after a 500' tall (that's forty stories) industial wind turbine next to your home had been zapped or damaged by a storm or tornado!!! The town manager of Barre has leased his land in Colebrook CT to a group of entrepreneurs chasing the millions in tax dollars being funneled to industrial wind turbines set in residential areas - Wind noise, flicker, vibration, ice flinging - IN FACT, after decades experimenting with Wind turbines on that scale, Europe and Asia have moratoriums - builders took the tax $$$$$$, land owners got wealthy from lease agreements, and no one got reliable power, the behemoth turbines were left to rust and decay - tens of thousands in California, Hawaii, tens of thousands more over the globe - Why did the manager of Barre think this was a good idea for the area he left behind in NW CT? Is it all about the $$$$???? who knows - your neighborhood could be next..........

Wind Turbines are build in China, with rare minerals mined in China, erected in the New England by out of state crews - and the energy produced is unreliable and expensive - IF YOU DON'T WANT 500' NOISE GENERATING, VIBRATING, FLICKER CREATING, BIRD AND BAT KILLING BEHEMOTHS NEAR YOUR HOMES, GET ORGANIZED NOW - IN CT, THE LOCAL PEOPLE HAVE NO SAY --CITING COUNCIL HAS COMPLETE DISCRETION OVER LOCATION - THEY MAY IGNORE THE POOR PERFORMANCE OF INDUSTRIAL TURBINES IN OTHER LOCALES IN THEIR RUSH TO APPEAR FRIENDLY TO THIS MOST UN-GREEN OF TECHNOLOGIES
