I am encouraging anyone in Orangeburg to become involved in the TNR program concerning feral cats in the neighborhood. It is the "Trap, Neuter, Release" program. The humane society has more information on this subject. A veterinarian will neuter, vaccinate, and give rabies vaccine as well as removing a quarter inch off the cat's left ear to make it identifiable as being neutered and having a clean bill of health. Please do not let these animals be euthanized. As a community we can stop the reproduction of these cats in a humane manner.
