I answered a fellow about where our land was. There were 960 acres, north of town. I was asking about what has hapened to it. In case anyone knows, the town of Monrovia was founded by a Johnson.
West Union first row in the cementary is of Johnsons, so we were there, I was born there. This fine young gentleman said he and his dad had not heard of the Johnson in Monrovia.

Johnson Land - Leaving Monrovia going to Bellville on that road an the left is a church. Alittle blue house just past that, and the house past that belonged to Philip Johnson, and wife Gertrude, and hos father in the house just beyon and went to the jog in the road. At the jog in the road, same side of road, north west, and clear to the highway that was put in,it bought some of the land for the hughway. Back at the jog on the road going east, our land extended south. Ashley Johnson built a big house up on the hill where we could see in every direction, we were up so high, and my father William Johnson lost it in the depression in 1933. East of our land was farm of Joseph Johnson which ran along our to the south. He and his wife Florence did not live on the farm, but lived across from the mill. Last time I was there the house looked as good as it did the year I was born in 1925. Our farm bought be Mary Terral (?) and she put her name on the side of the barn you could see from the road. It was rented out once when I took my uncle up tp look around. The house burnt down first and the barns last. What about the land now? I have described 960 acers, that my greatgrand father and his brother and 4 sons cleared. Now whats his name that laughed and said there was not any Johnson land - has a lot of history to learn about
