Tear Gas Ends 10-Hour Armed Standoff, Suspect Surrenders

SWAT team members fired two different kinds of tear gas into a Monrovia house Wednesday before an armed felon finally surrendered to police, ending a 10-hour standoff that forced many people from their homes as negotiators tried to convince the man to give up.

Glad to be back in my own home and out of the car, with 3 children ranges 9-6 and 11 months it was a hard day. We are all thankful that it came to an end, what felt like a forever thing. Thank you to the monrovia Pd and all whom helped in this horrible event we are all back home and safe <3 thank you guys/girls.
