Simonton Vinyl Windows - I have Simonton vinyl windows in my home in Monrovia and they are great. I got the Simonton windows installed last month and have had no problems. I got few estimates for other window brands but went with the Simonton because of the quality of the windows and the Simonton lifetime warranty. I looked at Milgard and Superior but thought the Simonton's were a better window. Price was a little higher then the other brands but I think well worth it. The Simonton windows also qualify for a tax credit from the Government. The tax credit is 30% of cost of doing your windows up to $1,500.

I learned about Simonton windows from my neighbor and am very happy with them. The Simonton windows open and close with ease. The house doesn't heat up as much as it use to and at night we don't get the drafts. They are great windows.

My husband and I love the Simonton windows we bought 2 years ago. Our energy bills went down about 30% after the windows were installed.

I love my Simonton windows I had put in 6 years ago. Very nice looking and keep the noise out. They still work like when they were first installed. I looked at alot of different window brands but Simonton was at that time the best available. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

I am considering Simonton replacement windows. What series number or product line was purchased by the respondents above. I need to compare apples to apples when making my selection.

Thanks for your help!

The one thing I didn't like about the Simonton windows were the screens that came with the windows. The black screen tabs are very ugly.

Can you post the contact for the company that installed your Simonton windows?

The windows are great. There is a wait for service though. I called Simonton to have someone come out to my house and fix two of my windows and got an appointment in 5 weeks. That was first available and on a weekday. I was pretty surprised and disappointed.

Simonton has three different models.
Simonton Verona is their builders series window. Low end Simonton with no features) Warranty is lifetime that is transferable 10 years but NO glass breakage.
Simonton 7300 is a narrow frame series window. Warranty is lifetime with lifetime transferable.
Simonton 7500 is a wide frame series window. Warranty is lifetime with lifetime transferable.
Simonton screen warranty is ONLY 1 year now. It use to be lifetime.

I am happy to say I love my windows also. Just had them installed. I would recommend getting them. Not sure about the energy savings yet. :)

I like my Simonton windows but hate the cam locks. Takes way to long to open and close each window. Wish they had an auto lock option.

Bought 13 Simonton windows 4 years ago and they have leaked air from day one. Home Depot installed them, however they are not leaking from the install but from the latch in the window. HD and Simonton have been here several times and both say nothing is wrong and are suppose to leak air. Their answer was to put plastic on the outside to keep the air out - Give me a Break!

Turned HD over to the BBB they are coming to look at them again.

Not holding my breath!

Allen sorry your having a problem with your windows.

I had a certified Simonton dealer install my windows and had no problems. That was 7 years ago. Simonton's website has a dealer location part that you just enter your zip code and up pops dealers near you. I don't think I would trust Home Depot to do my windows. They ruined my friends kitchen cabinet job.
