Grateful Resident

Morrisonville, WI

#1 Jun 10, 2011
Our family is one of the many residents of Monticello, WI who had significant damage and were without power for nearly 24 hours due to the storm/straight line winds on Wednesday evening. Our street, saw first hand the mangeled mess of power lines and huge split or uprooted tree that resulted from the storms. What is so sureal is that very few outside of the community were aware of the severity of the damage. We are truly blessed because we reeived no structural damage to our home, vehicles and most importantly ourselves! Fortunately, this seems to be the case througout the entire community. Hope that others in the community fared as well as we did, just very odd that what was seemingly significant to our little community, was oddly overlooked in other damage assesed publically in Southern Wiscsonsin. Curious to know how others feel.

Signed, so blessed in Monticello
