Just thinking that if people were not so over-extended with their credit cards trying to live like rock stars they might not have trouble making it to payday, and that would be the end of payday loans.

The truth is that most people do not have a temporary shortage of money. They have long term problems and payday and title loans are not the answer. If you are short money, eat breakfast at home and take a lunch to work. Figure out what is really necessary for a good life. Stop dragging your children to the store, kids want what they see have no idea what they need. Gosh, that can be said for many adults too. Don't get your nails and or hair done every week. Do not use plastic money for anything but an emergency and then pay it off just like you would a payday loan.

I read somewhere that the estimate is that the average family uses one weeks salary out of four to pay credit card debt.

Seems like the problem is not the "Cash Cow" as much as it the consumers unsatible appetite for excess. Well,I was just thinking...
