I hope so too. I am just going by who says what. If I were a Chief State's Attorney I would be cautious in what I say to the public. It is sort of like a politician's job, no? So for Kane to say "I think the case can be solved" tells me that they are very close.<quoted text>

They are at the same place they were at years ago except...I believe that they are now using their evidence, it's just a matter of matching the DNA...meaning that the officers today are actually doing something others may not have been able to do before.What's done in the dark, comes into the light; in this case it's just taken too much time.My heart goes out to the family, and I hope that this case comes to a sucessful completion.

I was just re-reading the posts on this topic.
One of the prime suspects was a bully who lived very near the crime scene. Is he the same one who had possession of Matthew's fishing pole? What was his name?
