Diana tells KJ to restore road to previous condition
MONROE Orange County Executive Edward Diana Thursday told officials of the Village of Kiryas Joel to return a section of County Route 44 to its previous condition in three days or pay a $1,000 per day fine.

Being somewhat new to the area, I find it unbelievable that this hasidic community gets away with such disregard of the laws of the county and state. I've been told it's because they vote in blocks and have some politicians in their pockets. To that I say, WAKE UP, and get informed and VOTE. They need to follow the rules and get the easements just like Joe the Plumber.

KJ is not the problem the county is the problem .The county was blocking KJ for years and years untill KJ decided to take matters in their own hands
