No one wants to stop a community that needs water from getting it, however, all permits need to be in place and the proper study on the effect need to be done before pipes are laid down. KJ has a reputation for disregarding others and putting themselves first and this is another example. While the DEC says letting them access the water is a different matter KJ continues to lay down pipes with no regard to the concerns of their neighbors. As for Ed Diana's hundred year old law, that is just laughable, those laws need to be looked at for the times they are written, he is just hiding behind it. Also, not much mention has been made as to the location of the wells KJ wants to use in Cornwall. I had read they purchased land once owned by STAR enterprises and want use their well as a back up, this lamd is number NYD001223338 with the EPA as a Toxic waste site! No water should be running into wells there evem for backup! If this information is correct the pipeline needs to be stopped for their own protection as well as ours.
