We used to eat there a good bit. The prices were good and the food was good, not great but better than most places like it in Monroe. The last two times we have been it has not been as good.

Let's start with cleanliness OR LACK OF IT! Logan's has peanut shells on the floor that's not what I mean. I can live with that but the whole place is dirty. There are always unbused tables with dirty dishes. They don't clean the place thoroughly. One of the racing displays on the wall has a big greasy spot on it that has been there a while. We noticed it over a month ago.

When they first opened they had attractive people working on the wait staff. They still have some nice looking people but they now have some that should pay more attention to personal hygiene. I know some people aren't as attractive as others but they should make the effort to look clean when working with the public.

An older, heavy set woman with tattoos and dirty looking hair waited on us. We also saw a man in a dirty Logans T shirt like the waitresses wear standing around and getting in the way where the waitresses put in their orders. I don't know if he worked there or was just trying to hangout and talk to one of the waitresses.

We had already ordered so we didn't get up and leave. The food came and it was ok. I will give the waitress credit. She did come back and check on us several times. I just wish she had tried to look a little better waiting on the public. My steak looked good but was a little tough. The drink I ordered from the bar came late. I think she forgot to put the bar order in until she checked on us the first time and realized I didn't have anything to drink. My husband had finished his salad and had drunk a whole glass of tea while I sat there with nothing. Finally she brought out my drink. One of the reason I like Logan's is the variety they offer in their bar drinks. The bartender does a good job. They are not as stingy with their liquor as most places in Monroe. You get a whole jigger at Logan's, not the stingy 3/4ths at Appleby's or El Viarta.

The peanut shells on the floor are intentional; the peanut oil is good for the wood.
