[YMCA in Marshville]

There is an interest group of citizens who have petitioned the YMCA to build a YMCA on this end of the county. They have plans being drawn up for a big building with a basketball court, swimming pool, weight lifting and aerobics, offices and meeting facilities. They brought some people from YMCA here this weekend to look for possible locations. I was told that if it is built it probably will be either right in Wingate near 74 or near East Union School on 74 just as you come into Marshville. They told me that if we wanted to support this we could write a letter to the YMCA but didn't say an address.

It's not the same YMCA as it used to be. Just another lib organization with a terminal case of diversititis. Forget it. The United Way is just a lib organization. There's nothing Christian about it.

I suppose the United Way was at one time a good thing. But because of the mandates of liberalism since the LBJ days, it's just another lib cause. There is no YMCA. Forget it. Just a hijacked name applied to another lib cause.

dude I wish we had a YMCA here. I no that the YMCA men came and visited around Wingate and talked to the mayor and the collige about building it over here near the cemetary on 74 if they can get the land donated. They are talking about a big building with gyms for basketball, weight lifting and swimming pools and classes for crafts and Christian meetings. I don't no how you got to talking about United Way but it is not like that at all.

Heck I learned to swim at the Y, as a boy. Went through all the classes. Ended up on the swim team at our swim club. That's how I grew up till aging off the team at 17.
But back to the Y. It's not the same YMCA. Remember?--Lyndon Johnson happened. Liberalism became the law. Now, 45 years later, the YMCA is just another lib organization of diversity-mongering lunatics, like most any other organization now. It's all about the "diversity" kick these whackjobs won't let go of. YMCA? Who needs THAT? Take that crap right back to the Democrat Party and tell them to shove it. "Christian meetings", like HELL. It's all about the "diversity". And how to spread that cancer.
Sorry folks, but that's just how it is. I wouldn't trust any of these libs as far as I could thhrow an anvil.
