I am the mother of three Walled Lake teens in the District. The kids are getting a bit frightened by the MRSA talk over the PA system. The high school was closed for the day...yet the football game went on? The students were encouraged to come to the game over the PA system? Is that okay?
Is there a certified health care professional that can elaborate more about this disease...in simple terms that I can explain to my teens...and, thus understand myself?
1. How do we know if they have it?
2. Do we immediate contact pediatrician?
3. How long does it take to heal?
4. Common symptoms?
A concerned Walled Lake mom!:-)
