This little girl obviously did not just wander away! Someone kidnapped, assaulted and then killed her with much planning so as to have concrete available in an attempt to hide the body. A mafia set of overshoes would not have left such a disaster to be found, nor would they harm a child.

i cannot even believe that this mother knew 3 pedophiles and stated that the one named George was like a father to the little girl.

Her body was just found? How did they lose it? Somebody wasn't paying attention.

She had no chance! Her mother was hanging out with a pedophile and found her daughter to be safe around that kind of trash. Her dad had no clue or say and I doubt he wanted any. This poor child turned into a product of her own environment. People in todays world have sick morbid thoughts and act them out. This mother should have been concerned about raising her daughter to become productive. Very sad, such a cute girl.

I wish the father hadn't messed w/the cement. I'm afraid the defense can claim the evidence the prosecution brings forth, is tainted :(

How stupid can this man be? They should charge him with tampering with evidence in a murder case!!!!

I don't think he thought it was a person...especially that little girl. For one thing, it was 7 miles away from the s'posed crime scene. And for another, who ever thinks they'll stumble across a human body? That would be the last thing I would imagine happening, in my life.

In a way he's kinda right. That little girl shoulda never been lost in the first place. Someone let in the devil. And the comments about tampering?? If he didnt chip away the piece and discover her she may have never been found leaving a Nation to wonder what happened to yet another innocent child. We educate everyday to our childre about stuff like this. I feel bad for the community that she lived in.

Kennedy had matchbox cycles in his room. Neveah's grandmom said those were her favorite toy. Why were they there...did Neveah have hers with her that day? If not, and they were her favorite, did she already have those...or was he gonna make her a gift of them?

SOoooooooooooooooo many questions :(

The innocent child was found and for that we should be grateful.

The so-called Mother is a stupid piece of trash! She has a deranged mind to not have considered her daughter's safety because she seemed to be a magnet for sex offenders. She is sickening ignorant garbage! Why could the father not fight to take the child away from a twit of a mother.

I AM grateful, but I'll be ever so much more grateful when her killers are caught, and the mothers part in this horror, comes to light.

For many fathers, the system isn't friendly, at all. They believe the child(ren) belong w/the mother, or some other female relative. WHY, I haven't a clue. Look at what more and more mothers are doing to their children!!

She's a true Susan Smith...would rather have the "man", than the child. Our country is going straight to HE!!

They were all on probation and violated that probation by being around a child. That's why their in custody right now.

We are all to blame that such violent acts happen to these children.Lets face it. the only form of rehabilitation for sex offenders is Death. They commit these crimes and we pay for them to be in prison..and extra because they are kept seperate from the other inmates, so nobody will hurt them..Then released and posted on a registry so we can police them instead of the police. Or until they commit another act on a child. Face it a child cannot deffend themself. They look to adults for guidance. The mom is just as guilty of what happened to this child as the person who did it.She put that childs life in harms way. That is neglect. As for the dad there is NO EXCUSE for not seeing his child in 2 years. I'm just wondering if he even paid child support. I would like to think no judge would allow a child to be around sex offenders. I have no sympathy for this mother. My sympathy is with the child.

From bits of news I've seen on different news shows, it seemed the little girls grandmother had custody and her Mom and Uncle lived there also. The grandmother worked at a grocery store and Neveah's Mom was watching her that day. Seems if this was the case, the grandmother had to know about the sex offender, as her daughter was dating him.Neveah's Mom wasn't married to the father and on Nancy Grace he hadn't seen her for a long time and didn't pay support.Neveah's Mom didn't work, because she had been in prison for a home invasion and nobody would hire her.Makes no sense that grandma had custody, but the Mom was still there 24/7.

Sorry, started writing on the name post by accident, didn't mean to type in Neveah.Nancy Grace had a lot of info on tonite and has talked to a lot of people on her show, that knows the family history here. She loves kids and I think has helped to get justice for them in the way she covers the story. She's on CNN again at 1AM, if anyone stays up that late.

On Nancy Grace show he stated how long it had been, and he looked like he wasn't vey upset. Most kids in that type situation are just treated as throwaways.Every child in that type of home situation, should have a court appointed guardian. Then they would be able to ck. on the child, as well as question neighbors as to what goes on with the child.
