I think Obama is absolutely right. Any and all candidates families, especially their children, should be totally off limits during campaigns. I believe he would be offended. He is a very strong family man, and I think he would fight against anyone doing this to any candidate's family. I think he'd quickly fire anyone in his campaign if he were to discover they had any part in doing somthing like this.

It would be nice if everyone would stick with the issues and leave the mud-slinging out of it, but I can't see that happening. If you have verifiable evidence of wrong-doing, or negative behavior which would affect the office for which they are campaigning, then it should be made public. All this intentional misquoting, charachter assassinations, and outright lies shouldn't be allowed to be a part of the campaigns. They're just used to cloud the issues and to make their opponents seem to be someone they aren't. Its no wonder we get people in office who get our country in the shape its now in. We can never get down to the real issues and get answers to the legitimate questions.

I don't blame him for being offended. After all, he was one of the few people who said her famil was off limits. I understand her speech was snide, patronizing, and negatively personal.
Time after time, Obama has shown the class that many of his opponents have lacked.

That speech speaks volumes for me, as I can't help wondering what the Republicans stand for besides clinging to power at any cost.

He has a mother who wasn't really married to an already married man. He is born the way Palin's grand child is right now if those kids don't marry.
