Hi Lola...the little groundhogs are still running around and playing. It's safe here...I have neighbors but they don't seem too concerned with them. Some people can be strange about animals.

My husband and I are going for an overnighter to a fancy hotel tomorrow. It is our 40th wedding anniversary.

I wonder how Maggie is doing? I bet she's having a good time.

My cat, Joey, just jumped up on the bed with me. He is sooooooo affectionate. He loves to be held like a baby. He is 2 years old. Joey and his twin sister, Binky are my youngest. My oldest is Fluffy, she's 19. She is also blind but gets around just fine.

How many grandchildren do you have? Do they live close by?

Well I will finish......

Hi Lola....I see you added Kris. Should I call you Kris, Lola, or Kris Lola?
We got back this morning from our overnight trip. We had a wonderful time. A very nice resort. I am happy to be home.

How nice to have some of your grandchildren close by. I have no one other then my husband and the same with him.

Can you believe August is here already? Overall I think it has been a nice summer. Not too much high temps. It has been dry though.

Well I think I am going to call it a day. I did not sleep well last night.....strange bed and not the most comfortable.

God bless.....

whats your point? All have fallen short, but I wouldn't go against Gods word. They have a history of alchohol abuse,as well as drug abuse.why would they support the sale of alchohol? The love of money is the root of all evil. I would bet the Robin Williams family wishes he had never had a drink .

Robin Williams suffered with depression. People that are in depressed states fall into addiction due to their problem, whether it be alcohol or drugs.

do you know anyone with an addiction who isn't depressed about it at times? I never did. So why support the sale of alcohol ? I know if someone wants it bAd enough they will find it,I just wouldn't want it on my heart.

You missed my point. Alcohol and drugs did not cause Robin Wiliams to become depressed or his suicide.

There is nothing wrong with alcohol in moderation. Gluttony is a sin, whether it be alcohol, food, greed and wastefulness.

I agree somewhat...liquor brings out a lot of bad in people. Drunk driving is another issue. I just don't think alcohol is the root of all evil.

My church uses real wine for the Eucharist.

Have a good day and a safe day.

Christ is in our midst......and ever shall be.
