why did'nt mr parkers insurance take care of his problem? maybe he did'nt want to buy/pay for it?

Maybe Mr. Parker couldn’t afford insurance and there was no payoff. We don’t know his financial situation, but the attitude of Enid Lipeles and Town of Monroe is despicable. This man needed help and all along there was a way for him to keep his only asset and home. For Lipeles to say ”Look around, there are a lot of people hard off in Monroe right now. Some of them are probably worse off than Carl” is exceptionally cruel. Imagine a handful of people having the power to change your life for the worse forever. She must live a financially comfortable and secure life. Mr. Parker is homeless with an uncertain future.

There was no reason to do this to a lifelong resident.If our elected officials are not concerned with helping the poorest, who are the interested in helping? It clear that leadership lacks any morality or compassion. Always willing to increase taxes but yet unwilling to address the consensuses of those increases.
