How could the lightning miss?

Maybe it was God telling them something.

I wasn't telling them anything, it was just a lightening strike. Things are what they are. But I would stay inside next time there is a storm, if I were you.

They drove themselves to the hospital? Didn't call EMS?

Keep those nurses away from my bedside.

Precious time could have been wasted waiting for EMS. Sometimes it is better to get emergency life saving treatment as quickly as possible. Perhaps they had no way of contacting EMS. I know when I go camping I do not want to be bothered with cell phones. I want to relax and get away from everything. Please do not pass judgment. Nurses are great people and I am sure you would want their care if you were ill or injured. I am not a nurse but I know nurses are very special caring people. Please also note that I became ill once and needed life saving care. I knew if I waited for EMS I would die so yes I was driven to the E.R. and it saved my life. I am happy to hear that they all survived such a terrible thing.

I met a guy from shelton (like 20 years ago) who was eating breakfast next to a window in his kitchen, his brother was sitting there next to him. Lightning came through the window and killed his brother right next to him. It was all over the news at the time.
