Former state. Sen. George L. "Doc" Gunther dies

"Doc" Gunther is what all politicians should strive to be. Independant, conscience voting, strong character.

Instead, we get party lackies afraid to step outside of their respective party's box.

He was not always politically correct, but he was something better than that.

Spoke his mind.... Led from the front... Had an actual opinion.... And most importantly made decisions when he needed to....

RIP Doc Gunther.
