The problem wasnt foul language - all coaches cuss regardless of sport. It isn't Mick, it's Rick and I would have my son play for him any time if he was still coaching. He taught every player baseball the right way.
Ringgold HS baseball will run every good coach out of town whether they win or not. Im sure the football or basketball coaches all use perfect language. HUH??? My son plays football, trust me, they don't. Im sure every parent believes their kids don't use bad language??? Rick's not perfect, but he's a hell of a coach. And I don't even like him as a person.
It was about what he said - comments directed toward a player's parent that was overheard by other players including the son of this parent. If you knew what he said, you wouldnt want your child near him. and no dont ask, I will not repeat it here. But if you know RInggold kids who played baseball last yr or know adults who know what happened, just ask them. They wont protect him I am sure.
When the Athletic Director tells a coach in mid-season that you either resign or I will fire you, doesnt that tell you that it was more than just a few salty words?
