yes you are correct, what does this town focus on? what are the issues to try to make it a better community. the carnival please, the fireworks they get worse every year. the town just looks dirty. and what exactly is the purpose of the aquatorium. the children in this town need a positive direction how about a boys and girls club with after school activities maybe some free tutoring for kids that need it a gameroom counslers for the kids that are going in the wrong direction.

Excuse me middle aged woman of the mon valley, quit thinking about yourselves, and think of the skatepark as a positive addition to the community. The skatepark will bring in alot of new families to the area to visit the town of monongahela. New faces means more economic activity which means a better monongahela. The skatepark actually might save your town. There are thousands of skateboarders in the western side of Pennsylvania alone that would love to travel to a new skatepark to enjoy. I know that last sentence probably scared you bitty middle aged cubesecent woman in the valley.but don't worry, not all skateboarders that you(you meaning "middle aged prissy stuck up money hungry big SUV driving woman of the valley) think of are some young punks trying to harass and destroy property. Thats the common misconception that all skateboarders are young punks, when in reality, millions of people in this country sksteboard, many of them being in fortune 500 companies, politicians, lawyers, doctors ,teachers and the list goes on. So before you( you meaning middle aged government assistance salon gossiping mon valley women) discredit the idea of the skatepark, think of the economic impact that it would have and how much better of a place it will be. It's a chance to revitalize the city of monongahela.

Why don't you stop huffing perm fumes from the salon and think for a second .The skatepark is a great opportunity for monongahela to show what a great city it is and also be impacted economically. More people traveling to the city means more revenue coming in. More revenue for the business means a better community. It sounds like you don't want a better community, I wish the paper would tell all the stuck up gold digging ciggerate smoking middle aged woman of the valley where NOT to express their ignorant and uneducated responses somewhere else. That would make me glad.

How about cleaning up the mon valley by getting rid off all the close minded ignorant government assistance using middle aged BAFOONS like Dina. That way it would give communities a chance to thrive without being criticizedeith uneducated banter that solves nothing, Dina obviously is not seeing the opportunity that Monongahela has with this skatepark ,its a chance to bring in more revenue for the community and a chance for more jobs. This kind of mentality that Dina has is a reason why this county is in an economic slump.

The fireworks shouldn't even be an issue. The skatepark would be a chance for the town to clean up. More people traveling into town for the skatepark would mean more revenue which means the town benefits from it.
