if it wasn't for the Taylors from Bay,Arkansas there would be zero state titles for BIC, instead we have four, thanks to the Taylor brothers.
You are right its over !!! you can tell that when you read the local paper ,

ive heard the whole lot of em were assholes. and maybe winning state titles wasnt such a good thing. that school puts to much into the basketball team and not enough into actually teaching the students. i mean cmon.$1 mil gym and still usin the same POS books? there are tons of things that school needed over a stupid gym. but no...all anyone cares about is the basketball team, and it sounds like their fault. its a shame.

I agree with you totally. Sports come first at BIC. Remember Swing Out being put off at the last minute because the ball team was playing off somewhere. That's all that matters to the school. I am glad my kids no longer attend that school. Now they are going somewhere that teaches education!!!!

There is NOTHING wrong with the education you receive from this school. Over half my class went on to graduate college and become successful so it might just be your kids.

There was nothing wrong with BIC's education system. If your kid wasn't getting an education it was because he was too stupid to learn and you were too stupid to help them.

My kids made straight A's at BIC, they are just going somewhere now where education is more important than sports.

99% of BIC'S grads that go to college do so on a academic scholarship, that should say something for BIC, BIC'S ACT scores are always very high.
For that, i am very thankful for all of the teachers at BIC.

They are very different type of people/ coaches. Gaylon won two titles and made the players be respectful and act like they had a lot of class. Bill just wanted to win no matter what. Gaylon never used any type of bad language Bill used it all the time. BIC went from being very respected in the early 90's to more of bad boy image and win at all costs under the second Taylor. I wish him well someplace else than other than BIC.

You must not have really watched BIC play under Bill Taylor. His boys didn't win at all costs. They won because they had talent. He built that team up from Jr. high, they worked their tails off for those 2 titles, should have been 3 maybe 4, but they fell short the previous 2 years before.

You are correct, the players won all four of the state titles with hard work and dedication. The coaching was a part of it but the players efforts and talents were the main reason the 4 state banners are hanging at BIC. I just wanted to point out that Bill and Gaylon are totally different people with totally different values. I personally liked the way BIC was represented much better during the Gaylon years than how they were during the Bill years. There were to many technicals and bad language in the Bill years. Made BIC look bad even when they won to a lot of folks.

You are just another jealous person of BIC. I believe that if you would do a little research you find that BIC's ACT scores are some of the highest each year. These are the same test given nation wide. Just ask how easy it is to pass Eddie's Chemistry class.

Chemistry and all Math and Science classes are a joke at BIC. Don't get me wrong, I loved going to BIC. I played basketball, I made good grades. BIC did not prepare me for the Engineering degree I pursued in college. I got the Engineering degree (and later a Masters in Engineering) with a 3.8 GPA in college. However, I was way behind the curve in Math and Science when I started college. Most people had already had a couple of years of calculus in high school. I had never even seen Trigonometry yet. I had to work very hard to catch up. I'm not knocking the school and it does the very best it can for a small town. But don't kid yourselves people, a student does not have the opportunities at a small town for high school education to prepare well for a advanced degree in college. However, it can be done. I did it and I know several other that have. But I also know several who were overwhelmed by how far behind they were when they started college and switched to an easier degree or quit all together.

I also played for Coach Taylor. Like everyone on this Earth, he has his good points and bad points. He did the job he was hired to do, very well. Did he piss some people off? Yes. There is no coach anywhere that has not done that. Did he piss me off? Yes. But, he was a great motivator more than anything. I already knew how to work hard, but he showed me how and to what limits i could push myself. I'm glad i had the opportunity to play for him.
