What is happening at the Monette nursing home? I hear that there are severl unhappy staff members. The activity director is leaving! She is so VERY good to all of the residents. They absolutely love her.

Brenda is leaving. She will be missed. She is going to the nursing home at Gosnell. There are some residents that will be following her there.

Know what u mean. The administration tells the family members what they want to hear and laugh behind their backs. I have heard them many, many times say, "Let's move so & so in with so & so. That will teach them (the residents) to complain." AND heaven forbid a resident to complain. The resident is YELLED at by that hateful social worker.

Sounds like some of the dismissed ex-employees are bashing the place again. I have had family in Monete manor for some time and all the staff including the people who run the place are great. They are just like any other business and have to do the best they can to keep enough good staff to run the place 24/7. Check any paper....all nursing homes are always trying to hire enough staff to keep things going.

This is one of the top rated homes in the state year in and year out......

I am not a ex-employee. I still work at Monette Manor. I am simply stating a observation of what I see. The administration staff should follow the hippa laws regulations. The nursing staff does a excellant job caring for my aunt.

you would think that working in ahealthcare enviroment a person should have great health insurance. but this is not the case for monette manor they don't offer it. it's like a slap in the face for those that work there that have to deal with biohazardous waste which has to be dealt w/ on a daily basis.
