Monett Man Pleads Guilty To Possessing Child Pornography Cartoons

It's one thing to have real pictures of children, but I think it should be seen as a grey area, because it's hard to tell how old a set of lines are. They're not real children and this guy wasn't going out and collecting real porn or anything of the sort, and therefore shouldn't be punished like a pedophile.

There are tons of these types of comics on the internet, and they're easily aquireable too. However that doesn't mean that someone who goes and gets a lolita comic is gonna go and rape their neighbor's daughter or son.

It's one of those issues where it's "conservative peoples issue with hardcore porn". Shouldn't this type of thing be protected by our freedom of expression and speech?

I'm completely against the abuse of children but isn't this country getting VERY ridiculous when they start convicting people and registering them as sex offenders on THOUGHT CRIMES? How can a cartoon that isn't even a real person be a victim? There should have to be a victim in order for it to be a crime.
