In all fairness, Joel Whiteko should be the next one in line to replace Patterson in case he resigns. Whiteko had substantially more votes than Kraft in the last election. To have Kraft back on the BVA school board would definitely be a step backwards.
Bialon needs to be voted out when his term is up. He voted for the costly teachers' contract and then votes "no" for the 2011 tax increase. This is too self contradictory on his part and he does not serve in the best interests of the taxpayer.

Thank-you for mentioning my name in your comment. Kraft should be the last person nominated for a position on the board. That would be a slap in the face of the voters in BVA after they said hell no he must go! But remember, this wouldn't be unprecedented, Joe Stringhill was appointed after he was voted out. Nothing would surprise me about BVA. I will run in two years through the primary process, cross filing instead of being an Independent. Bialon and Patterson are responsible for the financial problems of BVA and if they can argue against that, I would like hear it.

Do you think Patterson will step down from The CU's Board also? Do you think its all because his boy Jackson got busted? I wonder how deep Patterson is involved in the Credit Union's mess? I honestly dont believe it was just Jackson and his girlfriend. They are definately dirty enough but they are definately lacking in the intellegence area. Someone else had to know what was going on! Ive also been wondering....did Jackson have access to BVA School district funds? Has anyone looked over the books,(so to say), to see if everything is accountable for?? I find it hard to believe this would have been the first time he has embezzeled money.

I believe it is possible for one or two people to empezzle this much money from the BVA Credit Union. An example is Bernie Metz, former CEO for Center Valley Federal Credit Union in Wheeling, WV embezzled $9 million and was sentenced to 9 years. My question would be is lax oversight and stupidity an excuse to let Jackson do this. Patterson and Bialon were "friends" with Jackson and put him in his position of the Credit Union. When you sleep with dogs you may wake-up with fleas and when you sleep with fish you smell like fish. I wouldn't be surprised to see Patterson resign from the BVA CU board, but I don't think he will resign from the school board.

Why are you mentioning Arrow on this subject? Mention her on the Washington Twp subject. They may have found her not guilty, but didn't she pay the overtime back when she was doing nothing but drinking coffee all day. Arrow made twice her salary in overtime.

It's possible he's visiting his son. Last I heard his son is doing well. Don't know if the son was as ill as Gerald claimed he was or if he was looking for sympathy as the parent.

Do know that two members of the CU Board have to appear in court in Pittsburgh over that mess. And personally believe that someone out there DID know what was going on before that one member of the board starting digging and pulling records/files. And, I understand Patterson was against that until that board member was determined to do it and then he consented to helping. With his education, experience on the school board, and his father had a business; Patterson couldn't be that unaware.

Might find out during the holiday season of visiting; only know that it's coming and that there is more to come out of that mess there.

They are finishing the exterior of the "branch office" and hope to sell it. They'll never get out of it what they paid for it and what they've put in to it.

I've noticed more new faces at the main office; supposedly they are part timers. That place is too small to have all those employees; they were bumping into each other.

Oh, and a member also told me what was in the papers were the larger amounts of money but there is a list a mile long of lesser amounts that was spent from CU monies.

WHAT are you talking about? WHAT garage? The Credit Union bought the old GRANGE for approximately $100 thousand and have sunk around another 6 or 7 hundred thousand and hoping to sell it for around 200 hundred thousand.

If you read the article in the paper, he spent around 47 thousand on repairs on the Coke Oven property where he lives. And he did use money from the Credit Union according to the article in the paper.

La Grange is a ZZ Top song from 1973. Look it up. From the Tres Hombres album. What the hell was that Grange building anyway?

Jackson & His Bimbo were ahead of getting the Grange out on 51 remodeled so it would be the "Branch Office" of the BVA CU. From what I heard he had "friends" quote a price and then split the money with them or just did the work his self and pocketed the money. I know for a fact that she was right along beside him through it all!
Not sure

They didn't say LA GRANGE; they said the GRANGE. Not sure but my understanding is the Grange was an association of farmers. And, at one time Rostraver Township was alot of farm land. The last 30 to 40 years the farmers sold land for housing developments. And as one drives thru the township one can see the many areas that were once farm land; such as the Robertson Plan, Ann Jon, Willow Farms, Wild Wind, Quinto Plan, Renaissance Plan, Willow Links, etc.

I'm sure it hosted many get togethers for the people of the township and I believe (I may be wrong) it also served as a voting poll at one time, and was known as the Concord Voting Poll for the voters who lived within that area.

Hopefully, Gerald Jackson and his girlfriend Rachel Willson will get criminal charges for thier embezzelment and get some jail time. People like them need to know that they cant get away with this crap! That you need to work hard to get things in life, not take from the people who do! I would love to be a fly on the wall during the court proceedings!
