There is no 'god'. What a ridiculous fairy tale.
This forum was supposed to a teacher's sudden death so soon after her retirement. Instead you have turned it into a forum to argue about the existence of God.
I think it is in very poor taste and an insult to the deceased teacher and to her family.
There are places to do this, but this is not one of them.
There is no argument only a mental midget believes in god. the god fanatics always get paranoid because they cant defend their childish fantasies.

Hopefully she was able to participate in outta Site Retro Nite before she met the Grim Reaper.

That would have made everything seem worth it.

What a shame. I hope she went quickly and without pain. My condolences to her family, co-workers, and students.

If you don't have time to do it right today...how will you have time to FIX it later?

Got an exact date and time on that?
How does one prepare for such an event? Should I get a pope hat? Learn the Welcome Back, Kotter theme on the trumpet?
Ok then, for a moment let's pretend that this sad episode was the work of this 'god'. Why would anyone worship such a cruel and sadistic force that would do such a thing?
Utter nonsense.
Stan -- does the pot have the right to say to the potter, "Why did you make me this way?" God is the Creator, we are His masterpiece. God IS, and every breath we have is a gift, and every moment we have is allowed by Him. We worship Him because we recognize His Authority over us. We worship Him for sending His Son to die for us so we could be reconciled to Him. We worship Him because He created us with such a loving hand. God IS, and God is Love. We mourn the loss of her life and the circumstances surrounding her death, but if she is In Christ, she is a new creation, and is in the presence of God. Stan, just because you don't acknowledge God, that does not mean He does not acknowledge you. He does. He loves you.

Very sad indeed.
Every individual's situation is slightly different but I notice that non-invasive and fairly inexpensive (about $150) heart checks are available on specific days at Health and other Centers, advertised ahead of time in the newspapers. They could serve as an advance warning system, and one could where necessary take remedial steps.

My children attend Molino Park and 2 of them had the honor of having Mrs. Smith as a teacher..She was loved by all who's lives she has touched. Now she is in heaven with her husband and son. God Bless her...
