OK Girls, it is open season on your man!

She could/should have left and sought help. The kid was 21, she was nearly twice his age and should have known better.
It certainly couldn't have been called long term abuse.

How do you know if she got help or not? I do not know this woman or the case, but from the article it sounds like the judge was calling her a victim of domestic violence. I have no idea about her, but I do know women stay in abusive relationships for tons of reasons, the most common one is love. Have you been on a date and when your partner dropped you off at home hits you and then says I had a great time, can I call you? If abusers did this they would never have victims. Abusers are good at forming bonds with their victims and then the abuse starts. I see from the news and the articles that their relationship was not a healthy one with the age difference, but none the less the judge found her not guilty of 1st degree murder

Domestic violence centers are full of women who were abused for years. They finally get the nerve to leave and many times go back. Their life is full of fear, afraid to leave afraid to stay. I would suggest that KA9MOT spend a few hours in one of these centers and see the sadness of these women and their children. It is easy to say shoulda, coulda, but when faced with reality it isn't so easy.
