Think what would happen if Quinn was elected then God forbid he died or something then we would have Shelia Simon as Governor. The thought really scares me so I will be voting Republican for the first time in my life. We just can not afford to have Shelia Simon as Governor.
Never really thought of this race as what would happen if the Governor died and I bet Pat Quinn did not think of it either. Who is the world would want Shelia Simon to be Governor. She might make a good Lt. Governor but no way would the State survive if she was actually Governor so I quess I will have to vote for someone else. If I was in New York right now I would be tempted to vote for the fellow that is running on the rent is too damn high party.

The ideas that Bill Brady and Jason Plummer have could result in lowering our deficit, such as re-constructing our largest budgets to 90% of their current operating capacity to eliminate wastefull spending, and utilizing agricultural resources in central and southern Illinois to attract the business of people from Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Tennesse so that they can come to Illinois and spend their money here!

Why is no one looking at the close connection between Jason Plummer and Dwight Kay? Most of the directors at Kay's company are on Bob Plummer's bank board. Just a coincidence? Duh.

As a parent of a son with multiple purple hearts from serving 2 tours of Iraq, I could NEVER vote for Jason Plummer who lied about being a 'former Naval Intelligence Officer'. Shame, Jason.

Why in the world would anyone ever support Shelia Simon other than being a die hard democrat?

I think we're in real trouble when people admit they won't vote for Sheila because she's not their idea of pretty. Could it be possible to elect people who are honest or smart or ethical? Maybe we could vote for people who DON'T hide their tax returns or DON'T want to kill dogs and cats by gassing them to death. Or DON'T lie about their military service. Do ya think?

For Cindy - Jason Plummer is afraid to show up for debates. He is running scared that people will ask him real questions that he won't be able to answer truthfully..like, why did you claim to be an officer in the Naval Reserve when you've not even trained in the Reserve? Or who got you that commission? Or where did the $300,000. you donated to your own campaign really come from? Folks, this is serious business and real questions.

We know where Jason got his money and at least it was money earned , not stolen.

As for Sandra Dee, this isn't serious business you dipshit, it's stupid ass politics. No more, no less and who in their right mind cares?

At least we know Jason was raised in a religious, honest, hard working family and if his Dad wants him to be a politician I say good. As long as Bob Plummer is around Jason will be on the straight and narrow and that's all I ask.

For Ed McBain - You have an interesting command of language that indicates you feel politics is a joke. I still beg to differ. It's vitally important that we know who we are voting for and what they stand for. We have a responsibilty to be informed or we deserve what we get! As far as my vote, it would NEVER be for Jason Plummer. He has lied already about his military service. If a man will lie about something as important as that, he'll lie about anything.

Jason- I know you're hiding something. What could it be? Your lack of income? That was not YOUR $300,000 given to your campaign? If it was your Daddy's money, did you not claim it as income? Oh, your resume is very impressive- you've crammed a lifetime of accomplishments into 28 years.
