Clinton fire chief and EMS director both fired

I'm suprised WQAD is just going for the juglar on these two guys.
I read in the times that Mcgovern is trying (unsuccessfully) to get documents from the city in his defense. Don't be too quick to throw stones. And everyone knows about the tac. of city gov't and how they can shift the blame. This guy might just be a pattsy?

Heads are rolling! Who was responsible for overseeing the Chief when this took place? If a rank & file Firefighter knew of the facts so did others up the chain of command. I look upon this as a loan from the Feds, kind of like the Parkway $$ that were returned. Are other cities nervous over this situation? Why does the city feel a need to fire people if they have admitted no wrongdoing?

Dang, wish I could find something to blow the whistle on and make a mil or so. I agree w/ Mr. Barr, why fire these guys if there is no wrongdoing? Could they sue the city for wrongful discharge? Yikes, could get very interesting....

will someone tell me since we does a fire chief or the EMS director set the prices anyway? Just shows that Clinton city council really does not care about their residents. Glad I dont live there. Good luck to the 2 that were fired. I wish them the best of luck.
