How do prosecutors know how much her gambling losses were? If they know where the money went, shouldn't stolen money be returned to its rightful owner?

I'd tell em I lost it all gambling too. Might keep them from looking for the 'secret' bank account the money is really in until I get out of prison.

Maybe prosecutors have video from a casino or records from a frequent-gambler card. My point is that ordinary citizens have to return a stolen car or whatever they bought, not knowing it was stolen. Why not casinos?
