...and yet Iowa is trying to get more casinos. So many lives ruined by gambling which often causes people who have been good citizens all their lives to steal and neglect their children for the sake of an addiction.

The state itself is now addicted to the campaign contributions from gambling predators.

If this is true it just proves that if you follow the money trail it leads to Culver the crook's office. Since he is pushing for more casinos it means he needs more money.

The same thing is happening in Illinois. The legislature passed a bill allowing convenience gambling (in bars and restaurants.) But, it has proven so unpopular with the public that the legislature is instead trying for slots at tracks to "save the horse-racing industry." Yet, Iowa racinos (slots at dog tracks) are trying to kill off the dogs now. Slots at tracks in Illinois will end up killing off the horses. It's just a ploy to get more slot machines somewhere. That way, legislators can run for re-election and say they didn't raise taxes and have the campaign paid for by the lobbyists.
