Too bad for this kid. It is a shame his Father is too busy making babies with other woman to help raise him. If I have the facts straight 7 children with three different woman. The mother needs Parenting classes. Never strike a child with an object. When will foolish woman learn to stop making babies with Men you know will not be around for the long haul. I was fortunate to have a loving Mother and Father to raise me and my siblings. I can recall being spanked by my Father once on the bottom with his hand. The spank was not painful, it was the fact that I had made my calm and loving Father deem it necessary to do it. My lesson was learned and I never got spanked again. RIP Dad I miss you everyday. Good luck to this 10 year old. I hope he realizes the importance of being a Father when he is older. Any fool can make a baby a real man is there for the raising.

Amen - to this day I respect my parents and grandparents - they are all long gone but they still deserve my respect for what they taught me and my siblings. Today that respect is not there and the mothering and fathering also is not there. We have no moral values anymore. We need to change our lifestyles/attitudes and our core values.

Just read her "interview" in southtown star. Have you not embarrassed your son enough? The initial story being published was beyond your control. Giving an interview just puts it back in the media. My guess is you are happy a better photo got published other than your mug shot. I am hopeful for this kid. Would you be less of a Parent if he was a straight B student. Enough of that nonsense. We are not interested in your media spin. Never hit a child with an object. Good luck to this kid. I am glad his school district is paying attention.

I hate when people comment on things from the outside looking in, it's just so funny. It all start with your background and history of your family, you can't judge a person by what the media tells you smh. Just read the story and keep your comments to yourself because you all sound stupid. Everyone is not raised by the same people or by the same book just because those are your morals don't mean it's the next persons morals. Grow Up people PLEASE.
