There was apparently a rather involved County Commission meeting yesterday being May 28, 2009 regarding the fate of the Road and Bridge foreman, Danny Foster. From what I understand from inside sources, this should have been an easy decision for the County Commission. Mr. Foster has physically assaulted several employees, including dragging one to the bathroom in order to stick his head in the toilet. This is in addition to punishing any employee who should dare speak to Commission Elmer Senevey and from what I have been told the list goes on and on.

The Commission originally suspended Mr. Foster with pay after all of these allegations were presented to them by the Sheriff and the Prosecutor. This was apparently after the Road and Bridge crew, the commission and Mr. Foster all came to both the Sheriff and the Prosecutor with complaints about the others. After an investigation was conducted and a different attorney found the same things the Sheriff and the Prosecutor found, the Commission voted to reinstate him. This is after the Road and Bridge crew came to the meeting voicing again their concerns over Mr. Foster’s violent behavior and their personal saefety. So now, he is going to be supervising the same group of men he has terrorized and assaulted.

The Unterrified Democrat has spent the last several weeks spinning the story to make it look like Danny Foster did nothing wrong, that the commissioners were blind sided and were given no choice but to suspend him and that this whole matter was out of their hands. She has gone so far as to leave out the facts regarding the assaults on the road and bridge crew even though she had the letter sent to the commission by their attorney that spelled out all the allegations. She saw fit to only print the items she felt would favor Mr. Foster.

I guess this shouldn’t surprise any of us given the following:

1) Russell Scheulen and Vince Samson always do whatever Jerry Voss tells them to do because they are afraid of her, they lack courage and she manipulates her stories and lies so they all look good. You only have to read that rag one time to know how slanted she is and to see why so many people refer to it as “The Enquirer”.
2) Ralph and Jerry Voss located (and probably paid for) the attorney hired by Danny Foster after he was suspended. Jerry Voss has been boasting about this fact all over town.
3) Russell and Vince hate Elmer Senevey more than they care about the county so they will do anything that goes against any motion made by Elmer. In fact, rumor has it they want him impeached even though he was elected just like the rest.

It seems unnecessary for any other parties to get involved in any
matters involving the county unless it has been approved by Jerry Voss as Russell and Vince are her puppets. Without a doubt they are always going to do what she tells them to do.

This has been the case for several years now and it continues to be an issue here in Osage County. It is time an outside news agency reported the facts of this situation and the let the voters in this county know what is really going on.

The people of Osage County just as anywhere else in the country have a right to be told the truth. Regardless of which side of this issue a person is on they have a right to form that opinion based on the facts and the truth, not Jerry Voss’s agenda or opinion or interpretation or only what she wants the people of Osage County to know.
