Everyone wants him out of the way, even his own party. So why is this greedy old loser still pretending to know how to govern? The dumbass should step down before Kathleen Kane takes him down for his involvement in Sandusky's Second Mile pedophile racket.

I'm voting for Louis Freeh.
No doubt you would! But the Pennsylvania people now know what Louis Freeh and Tom Corbett did to Joe Paterno and why. For 8 million, Louis Freeh tried to spare the dishonest dirty politician from jail time by framing the decent, honest old coach that spent 50 years of his life devoted to serving PA's greatest university and its students.

Why do you think paying this much money to one man to falsely implicate innocent people is "great"? Can you answer this?: As the Governor of PA, why did Tom Corbett NOT request the FBI to investigate Sandusky's Second Mile organization and their role in acquiring boys for Sandusky? After all, it was an organization founded by a pedophile to put himself in close contact with disenfranchised young boys. So why the focus on College-age football and the university? It makes no sense. Do you even know that Sandusky hadn't even worked as a coach for Paterno for 14 years when he was belatedly arrested? He was representing his organization only for the last 14 years. Do you see how this has been twisted to look like a college football issue when it simply isn't?

There was a very strong money connection between Sandusky's Second Mile and the PA state government, not the University. DPW was complicit, the Attorney General's office under Corbett was complicit, and so where the police. Attorney General, Kathleen Kane is investigating this as we speak.

No one likes dirty politicians. So why are you someone that appears to like dirty, lying government officials?

You underestimate the power of the incumbency.

Furthermore, are you suggesting that any prosecution by Kathleen Kane would hinge on whether Governor Corbett stays in the race?

Sounds like you're in favor of leveraging a threat of prosecution to deny voters the choice of whether he's elected or not. "Step Down or we will prosecute you" sounds pretty undemocratic.

No doubt that Corbett has had a difficult time. Even with Republicans controlling all chambers, they still weren't able to pass liquor privatization or transportation funding.

I think you may be mentally unstable, Ken. I'm concerned for Mr. Freeh's safety. Therefore, I've sent links to your posts to Mr. Freeh's office, and will be contacting the local FBI office in the morning, so they can contact Topix and get your IP address.
This is for your own good. You'll thank me later.
If I'm "mentally unstable", then so is Kathleen Kane, Franco Harris, Ray Blehar, PA Senator John Yudichak, John Ziegler, Former U.S. Att. Gen. Dick Thornburgh, and FBI profiler, Jim Clemente among many other. You gonna sick Freeh on them too loser? You're the fruitcake if you think Freeh gives a shit about you or me.

I can't "hint" at anything because I'm not Ms. Kane. She will do as she sees fit with criminal Corbett. Whether it happens before or after the election is up to the day for completion of her investigation. If I were the dirty rat himself, I'd make sure I couldn't be removed as Governor, and I'd step aside for another one of my fellow criminal running mates.

However, I kind of feel Kane will spare dirty Corbett the utter humiliation of removing him from office, because she is civilized. This is not how the thug himself operates though, and he deserves to be publicly humiliated for making innocent people at PSU take the fall for him.

IMHO, Governor Corbett is a semi-bright, semi-honest political hack.

But I agree with his stand on State Government Pension Reform.(his proposal failed in the House)
Pennsylvania is looking at a BIG budget shortfall in the coming years, mostly because of Tommy Ridge's grossly overgenerous pension giveaway to State employees.(And yes, Ridge was a Republican)

If Pennsylvania elects a Democrat (or a stupider Republican like Mr Ridge) just watch and see what happens to Penna Sales and Income Taxes.

Semi bright is being kind, semi honest? seriously?
That shortfall could have been helped if he would have properly taxed the big businesses who contributed to his campaign.

I'm neither left or right, and this guy could have done a few things differently to change perspective, but as it stands right now, he's low on the food chain.

His inactivity on the Sandusky case when he was AG is the icing on the cake.

Yes, Governor Corbett could have done more to extract some tax dollars from the Oil and Gas Boyz.

But the real problem is State Pensions, and the problem won't start to get painful for 2 or 3 more years.(Unless pensions are reformed, it will STAY painful....)

That's why the Gov tried to close State Store and sell off the rights to sell beer and liquor.

He needs the 1 Billion Dollars to give to retiring State Workers. And even that will only last a few years.

So I support the (failed) Pension Reform effort.

The fact that Corbett failed to regulate fracking with a some kind of "pollution tax" is a slap in the face to every tax paying business in the state.

Corbett is a complete failure to every honest tax paying citizen in the state.

Who's the democrat that's going to run against Corbett? If he or she supports divisive issues such as gay marriage, then my vote will stay with Corbett. Unless the democrats have someone better, then there's no justification to vote against Corbett.

Corbett's helicopter rides, undeclared vacation homes, gifts to his wife and himself from industry, are all just the tip of the iceberg for this man's greed and dishonesty. He seems to have a very warped sense of entitlement. Like a hedonistic Roman emperor, he is absolutely drunk with power. And he abuses his power every chance he gets at the expense of the people of the Commonwealth.

Almost as good as the Democrat motto: Never underestimate the ability to fool dimwitted, lazy, selfish phaqers who think the world owes them something !
