Has anyone heard the rumor that the Station is re-opening? Someone told me that it will have a movie theater and once a week be serving venison, squirrel and possum.

I have heard rumblings about this around Mohawk too. Someone said a woman fairly new to town is saying this stuff. Anyone know who it is?

My son told me that it is someone from Woodstock who lives in Mohawk so maybe the food will have an added boost. He heard it at the Legion that she is looking for people to help with money. When is it going to open?

I heard the same woman has contacted the Mohawk Fish and Game Club for the names of some area hunters to supply the restaurant with game.

Is this woman CRAZY? Hasn't she heard about the human wasting disease that was the big scare at that dinner in Vernon a few years back from eating vennison. I will stick with the good ole pulled beaver sandwich.

I agree. Heard she's stirring up all kinds of trouble with the library board.

Anybody know why she's allowed upstairs in the library everyday, while it hasn't been opened to anyone else for years? She was up there until 10 one nite-alone!

You think that is bad--you should go to my church--Reformed in Mohawk. She talks incessantly and I think she wants our pastor's job. I hope she knows God IS watching.

She used to send obnoxious emails to everyone on the Mohawk Alumni email list. When did she move back to Mohawk? Everyone seemed to like her a lot more when she lived in Woodstock.

BTW - anyone explain to her it's illegal to serve wild game in a restaurant?

This woman also has been going around town misrepresnting herself in other areas too. I have heard from my neighbors that she calls herself the village museum historian, the artist in residence at Weller Library, and also the artistic director of Mohawk. Who is this woman?? What gives her the authority to claim these "titles"?

Topix: Spread a Peaceful Word Today

People are what we are,
we walk and talk, and ride by car.
We travel,
yet some don’t leave the house.
Is your drive, dirt, tar or gravel?
Would you pet or harm a mouse?
Do you get your news from a bar,
the TV, radio or newspaper?
Which will ignite a caper?
They all could,
because they involve people.
Which speak a language to well understood,
even people under the steeple
can feather and tar.

The word of which I speak,
even damage the meek.
It is a language of gossip and rumor.
That ignites and spreads like a wild fire.
It’s an incurable menacing malignant leaking tumor.
To which victims needlessly walk in human created mire.
To which the strong become weak.
It is the devil in your soul,
that has gone very cold,
and Christianity can not live.
To which the truth is a lie,
that only God can forgive.
For His Son did die
for all to seek!!!!

Regardless of your up-bring,
whether you talk or sing
ill spoken words,
from all walks of life
things unspoken, things heard!
Yet they cut like a knife,
with the power of a king
To or from, rich or poor
it can destroy for-sure.
If only we could bring no harm,
in a picture of joyful peace & fun
and mystical charm.
Respectful to God’s Son
uplifting with an angel’s wing.

I am the new owner of the steakhouse,we have ran into many problems getting open but we our finally ther we will be open within two weeks to serve beef, lamb, pork, buffalo,Elk,and red deer. There are also many other meals on the new menue.

I have no idea who this woman is but she is crazy. She did not by it from Mr.brown we did.I hope someday ssomeone can point here out.We have vary strict guidlines to follow as for we own our own USDA processing plant. Our plans are to open up an affordable steakhouse tht the public will walk away full.

I used to eat at the station when I was a young boy 25 -30 years ago as I grew up in Richfield springs but my family is from Ilion.

Thank You for your input,Ernie

As you can see my husband is not good with key boards. He is a meat cutter not a secertary. We would like everyone to know that the station has been bought by us. Not this Donna White. We have had many problems with the lawyers involved on our side of it, we do have another and it is progressing nicely. You do not see much movement there now as we finally got the place clean. As of this morning my husband was on the Keeler show this morning talking about it. If you have any further doubts in your minds please feel free to stop in and take a peek when you see doors open or lights on. As for the menu we will have exotics foods such as buffalow, elk, and venison, which i will assure you all will be approved under USDA. We own our own slaughter house in Richfield Springs which most of the meat will come from and that is also a USDA plant. We look forward to seeing many of you when we open, and as a added bonus let us know if you are one that posted a comment on here and we will give you a 10% discount of our already low prices. Please feel free to keep leaving your comments and questions and we will address them when we see them.

Thanks again,

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Taurus

Make a big effort to spend time with people you didn't see on Christmas Day, especially if they're older than you or are having a bad time at the moment. You're brimming over with compassion and empathy, which will be really appreciated by anyone who's on the receiving end of them. You're also in the mood to make allowances for people, and that will help enormously.
