Ok, so they tell me they don't sell garbage bags, then they say they don't sell lottery tickets and now a guy came over before I grabbed the hose to pump gas and said they have no gas. What's with that?

Well, genius, it appears they're going out of business. And since no one is ever going to buy that dump, Mohawk will be stuck with another nasty environmental liability in the heart of its downtown.

I heard the guy who owns convenient store in Frankfort next door to Custymize has purchased the place. So it will be opened up under new owner.

Yeah right.

I'll believe that when I see it.

the family is a good family that has serviced mohawk now for a good long time, they have helped my family with heating fuel on more than a few occasions , they were patient and understanding of people having a hard time..
its just a shame the economy of the valley has gotten even worse than it was before the economic melt down... dont be to surprised if we see more and more valley bussiness going under, sadily you must be a major company in the us to ge any help anymore , its no longer the mom and pop stores , its all big industry... so my thanks to the paul family for your kindness to my family. you and your family are in my familys prayers, good luck to you.

Good people at LP.. I wish them all the luck,, If they sell beer and get new pumps that take credit cards they will do better then most of the losers that have made comments here... Best of luck to them..

If they accepted pay at the pump, and didn't just price identical to Fastrac, I might actually give them my business.

you people are extremely fucked up. lps is not closing. and the pauls are amazing. if you dont know them, keep your mouth shut. if you hear people tlkin badly about em, dont believe em until you actually meet them. really, your all what, 20's 30's. you're acting 2, get a life.

The one thing that comes to mind is all of the times LP's delivered heating fuel to several people I know in emergency situations with a payment plan or a smaller than normal delivery, out of their way, just so they had heat. I think a 24/7 gas pump that accepts only debit/credit cards is wages to hassle...

Lp's is a land mark in Mohawk, I love going there your in and out in 2 seconds and the owners are the nicest people around~ Everyone runs into hardships I was told they are do a remodeling of the place and will soon be selling, beer and trash bags~ thank god~ then I'll never have to go to fastrac again~ Good luck LPs

I also like patronizing LPs instead of the faceless Fast-Krap corporate greedy monster. The kids that work at FT are nice but we need to support the "Mom and Pop" shops or else there will only be Wal-Marts and Fast-Tracs and we will be their slaves. It is good news that they are going to sell beer !

I always go to LP's. I have only been in Fast Track 3 times since they opened and that was because both LP and Village Market were closed and I needed milk. They are an asset to Mohawk and everyone should patronize the small businesses in Mohawk before they are all gone.

I love LP's. They remember your name, they are nice, not grumpy like Fastrac.I have been getting my oil from them for several years, I was afraid when that new company merged with them the service would change. But those guys are great! And I think the older pumps are a part of the old Mohawk, when they had trees on Main Street & Columbia,it was pretty then (30 years ago).

Lawrence Paul's is great. Unless you want to actually buy gas. They're too cheap to update their pumps to take cards and simply charge the exact same amount as Fastrac.

I haven't spent a dime in there in 10 and don't plan on doing so until they cut their gas prices and put in a "pay at the pump" option.
