Joseph Harrison is an mosquito_A$$ for even proposing that expansion. It's nice to see the judge make a ruling for the hard working taxpayers for once. There was no need to expand and the expansion would not have provided any more mosquito protection then alreay provided by Summit County Board of Health. Thank you Judge R. Patrick Kelly !!!

About time an intelligent judical decision came along. Nice to see additional & unnecessary layers of government (& taxes) rejected.

1 Dear Mr Reason, may I suggest you subcontract someone intelligent to write your rambling posts? I saw you pushing a shopping cart down Tusc. |

Ah yes, mosquito abatement. The nasty little truck that comes by and spews poison into the air, whether I wish it or not.
Who knows what is in those fumes? WHAT are they forcing me to breathe? What are the long term consequences to my health? Any studies been done on this? And WHY do I still get bit by skeeters every year? Maybe because abatement doesn't really work? (Oh, the only sure way to eliminate squirrels is to cut down every oak tree in the city. Oaks and squirrels are essentially symbiotes.) |

someone should follow the money here, with a grand jury close at hand. someone was going to contract out the spread of insecticide- a poison- the more spread the more profit. the money then would find it's circular ride to the politicians pocket, or to the county party treasury, or to a election race for someone's future employer. americans have become such sheep. was a time we would have rooted these thieves out but i guess that is just being too liberal!

The MAD District people are having an emergency meeting this coming Monday (5-19-08) at 6pm. I'm thinking that the meeting will be concerning starting an appeal process against the recent judgement. They aren't ready to give up those dollars just yet. It's either that or they will be looking to dig into the Barberton and Norton pockets a little deeper.

Ahh encephalitis, high fever brain swells and you die.Not to mention the newer West Nile Virus. It may be over kill where you live, but not where I live the "poison truck" will go down the main drag and not the side streets, especially not the dead end ones, like I live on. But now the County refuses to help the flooding situation in my area they wont install storm sewers and the township wont even put in ditches and basements are constantly under water. Ahhh summer the dreaded time of year when I cant go outside after 5 p.m without getting bitten to death. Gotta love the County. Might as well live in the Everglades. |
