Animals are a reflection of there human pack leaders. So sad that the humans in this case have allowed their dog to bite two different woman, two different times and in the face. What is up with that behavior? So the dog suffers from lack of human intervention. Now the humans involved claim poor is me and my dog. Well smarten up people you do not deserve to have a dog that bites people and what kind of people are being allowed near a dog that they stick their face in the vicinity of getting bit. Put the dog in another situation far away from these people, do not kill the dog because they can be rehabilitated, unlike their owners who has shown an inability to control their animal. Punish the owner but not the dog.

I don't think the dog should be put down, instead
obligate the owner to enroll it in an obedience course as is offered at Petco. They would then issue a certificate at completion of training. Also, the owner could put a muzzle on the dog for more security. Another option is to fine the owner. Why is it here in California everything is killed, put to sleep or mistreated? Is there no compassion, understanding, or trying to find a solution that is positive?

Theses 2 women should not be putting their face near a dog that is not theirs! Thats LOGICAL and they have some responsibility AS WELL!!!!!!!!!

The dog wasn't roaming free in the neighborhood, he was in his home, in his bed when both incidents happened. These girls were drunk and its a known fact when you're drunk, you don't think clearly. Did the dog give warnings the girls ignored? Very likely. Let Bolt go home, the girls are at fault, not the dog. Lessons are learned the hard way sometimes. If Bolt were my dog I'd fight for his life too. Blame the girls people, show some common sense.

2 times in 2 weeks allowing a person to go around the dogs after one drunk girl had been bit already was a bad choice for this kid. Whoever he lived with (the grandma maybe)has Homeowner insurance. The homeowner insurance cover personal liability for $100,000. I know this because I was bit in the face. I had 4 stitches at age 35 and got $52,000 for the bite. AND BELIEVE ME, that is fair. Seven years later my face is droopy and disfigured from the bite. The owner of the dog that bit me tried the drunk thing too. DOES NOT WORK!!! Can not blame the victim. He allowed her into his home and knew she was drinking with prior knowledge of the other dog biting...dumb move...poor dog.

And we have laws for a reason. To the girl it happened to. The insurance company will try and settle right off. DO NOT DO IT. Get a Lawyer,John Demas in Sacramento is awesome. It will take 3 years but they will not be able to fix your face anytime soon. The nerves have to grow back. 7 years later, when it rains, my face still gets tight. This is INDEED a $100,000 bite. Get a personal Injury attorney is the first step. I promise you that you WILL lose friends...oh well. Let them get bit in the face and see how it feels. My case took 3 years to settle because I got the wrong attorney to start. It should wrap up in a 2 years. The lawyer will tell you to get better. There will be no advance medical payment if you choose to sue. CLEAR CUT are young and your face will never be the same. Call John Demas. He is the President of the trial lawyers association of Sacramento County. He IS the best. He was my lawyer. And you will need to have a Lawyer that understands that this doesn't just affect you today but for the rest of your life.
