Truthster....what makes you such an "EXPERT"that you would think without listening to all the evidence annd testimony that you can make a blanket statement that the jurors are idiots? I think you re "clueless" and have no idea what type of instructions the judge gave them.
What is that old saying? "Don't judge me until you have walked a mile in my shoes". He will have a much bigger judge that KNOWS THE ANSWER.

I must say... the head was not almost cut off people. The cut started way to the right side of the neck and that is why it hit the spine. The veins were not completely severed and the throat had only 2 small cuts in the wind pipe. The knife was razor sharp too. It was a hard and wild swing. Remember... she shoved a spear with a 14 to 15 inch blade on it completely through his leg. Not once but, twice. Also had a pretty nasty wound on his left arm as well. Fight , flight, or freeze. He chose to fight. If he had turned his back the spear may have wound up in his back killing him. Then who would be on trial....

i feel the other jurors just went alone with him because he seemed to be a hot head and a bully he seemed like he didnt like women maybe the women were afraid to say what they though and maybe the men to they should had a missed trial when that one was caught talking this was not a jokeing matter i feel this all help lose the case

From my understanding... the jury had a hard time going through all the evidence trying to find proof of guilt. It just was not anything there that proved he was guilty. So the State failed to prove him guilty. It is no one person bully or not that led in the decision.

In reguards to Mr. Michael the juror, If he thinks Mr. Turner scored a victory in being set free of murdering his wife, being in the life saving business himself I would not want to call on him to save my life.

After reading the Mocksville paper,it said Turner shook all the jurors hands and one juror went into a back room for a few minutes to talk. What was said in the back room that could not be said out front?

If she was supposedly the person spearing the dr. Why was there no prints on the spear? Perhaps they were wiped clean because they were his prints on there and not hers? 90 min. Is a long time for clean up! Remember her blood was dry on the floor and his blood was on top of hers.

This is insane! The man is clearly guilty and a CREEP! I hope he gets the justice coming to him. Because, in this case, the justice system failed. No way his version makes sense. The blood splatter on the ground. The clean wound to the fat of his thigh. The crazy timeline set up by his friend. The total lack of her fingerprints on the spear. The lie the friend told about giving her CPR. Damn! It makes me sick. The man got away with murder. If he wasn't rich and white he'd be on death row.

Welcome back Dr. Turner! First off---i do want to say that i dont know of any man in the world who would dare get a 7 foot sword anywhere near his OWN penis, nor anywhere NEAR his OWN groin area, that was my first clue that Dr. Turner was fighting in self-defense---I've heard of men having been found guilty of self inflicted stab wounds in the stomach,arm,wrist,neck---but self inflicted wounds anywhere NEAR their OWN penis--NOTTA-NEVER-EVER---not a man. Again, welcome back Dr. Turner!
Robin, you are right. Why would Mr. Murder, I mean, Turner let his wife stab him with a "decorative" spear? Which BTW, it was not a "7 foot sword". How easy would it have been to push away the spear or just grab it from her? Or call for his 300 lb friend just outside the door? Or explain why his friend didn't hear the good doctor yell in pain? OR how about the spear didn't have any of her fingerprints on it? Did she will the spear to stab him? You really should check out the facts of the case; the blood splatter evidence.

Really? So the jury didn't know that his wife's fingerprint weren't on the spear? That it took the good doctor and his friend an hour and a half to call for help? That the doctor's blood was found on top of her DRIED blood on the floor? That someone's head is almost cut off and the DOCTOR's "friend" tries to do mouth-to-mouth CPR? Hmmm... blow air into the mouth and, yeah, it comes right back out the big gash that almost decapited her... I guess it does take a rocket scientist to understand how that works.

What is the state of Dr. Kirk Turner's dental practice after the airing of the 48 Hours episode, "Mystery: A Killer Defense?" I got chills after the verdict was read, and wonder if he lost any patients. Does anyone know about the insurance, and what Dr. Turner benefited from the murder of his wife?
