Carnival Cruise Lines Now Faces Expected Wave of Lawsuits

Despite having their feet back on solid ground and making their way home, passengers from the Carnival Triumph cruise ship are still fuming over their five days of squalor on the stricken ship and the cruise ship company is likely to be hit with a wave of lawsuits.

Its a crap cruise line read 651 complaints, some pure nightmare such as the elderly couple on page 5 with their handicapped scooter even stolen by Carnival after they didn't CARRY it off after Carnival promised to keep their scooter's batteries charged since they wouldn't fit in room disabled people never should have been put in.$1,500 scooter just gone. They did not get the type of room they ordered. They were actually injured because of it. Outrageous. Just one of many, many awful stories. This is how the one percenters treat the little guy who saved for the big vacation at long last.

The company and Carnival CEO admitted it wasn't the customer 'experience' they wanted to give. But actually 'experience' means the show they wanted to put on.

Carnival does not want to dock a ship for repairs and loose potential money you also have alot mechanics, techs and trades that don't want to or can't trouble shoot a serious problem or do a major repair. They want mail it work.

There were probably hundreds of sleezy four legged contingency lawyers waiting on the docks for people who will sue but remember that it's up to the passengers and lawyers to prove that Carnival was involved in malicious intent for this fire to happen. Planes crash,buses run of mountains,ships sink,and trains derail. Anything designed and built by man and operated by man is subject to breakdown. Passengers need to put it down as one of life's experiences ,be glad it didn't sink,take the offer of compensation and another trip,and move on with their lives.

Apparently the cause was an oil leak in the engine room contacting a hot surface. Fluids like oil are about the only flammables in an engine room. If it's discovered they ignored or postphoned the repair of that leak they are done. This is the cause.

But it still doesn't explain the F'd up cure for the passengers.
